Sam is a committed educationalist, with a passion for breaking through barriers and empowering others, who experience challenges due to Specific Learning Difficulties. Having worked in education for many years, Sam is an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator, teacher, Specialist Dyslexia Teacher, and Assessor. Sam has taught and supported children, young people and adults, to access learning and work in the best way for them.


Sam has spent many years in education, in advisory and assessor capacity, having led a team of specialist assessors, teachers and teaching assistants. Sam advised, supported and trained colleagues in educational settings to create inclusive learning environments. Sam has also provided teaching and training around Special Educational Needs, Dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties to university level.


Sam is a member of the Dyslexia Guild, who have approved her Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC), as well as holding Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA) status, and is a member of Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS).
